A short, unedited, part from my book.

Matthias steps forward and is about to grab me again, but this time I’ve had enough. I slap away his hands, mostly to prove a point. He doesn’t get it, because next thing I know I’m ripped out of the sofa, his fingers digging into my arms. His December eyes like an oncoming storm. “What are you?”
I give him three rapid punches in the sweet spot just below the ribcage. As he folds, I propel my elbow up, hitting him square in the jaw. He goes down like a log and I straddle him. My hands gathering up a nice piece of his shirt. “How about you ask me politely?”

The silence is deafening. Guess no one had the brains to think I might be able to fight back. Typical boys. Matthias seizes my arms and spin us around. I let him do it, it’s not nice to hurt a guy’s ego too much in one go. The floor's pushing against my back, his weight holding me in place. I do the first thing that pops into my head. I purr, like a cat, pushing my hips up. His eyes widen and I feel his body’s primal reaction. I laugh as he jumps off me. Blake swallows a chuckle as Matthias glares at him. Ayden tries to cover his smile with a  hand. I get to my feet. “Sorry, dude. I just couldn’t resist.”

The hundred page prologue

Turns out the fanfic I am currently writing has become somewhat of a prologue to the book I'm writing. It surprises me that it molds together in such a way, but it's fun to see the characters evolve throughout the pages. I hope that you will enjoy the story as much as I've enjoyed (most of the time) writing it.

I'm hoping for release in the beginning of next year, but I make no promises since I want atleast two books finished before I take the leap into publishing.

Ah! Books!!

There is nothing so thrilling, so mouth-watering sexy as a well written story. To go on an adventure without having to leave your bed. What else can a girl need? Let me tell you.. a really smoldering and good looking guy to swoon over.

My fascination with A & E Kirk's DN series is bordering on obsession. Not only do they manage to give you the story, they manage to give you six very versatile guys to swoon over. As I write the latest book in the series is in the making and my nerdy heart flutters at the thought.

As a fan it does help that the authors are kind and actually care about their fans. They take their time to have huge giveaways, answer Facebook comments and emails.

Now i have read so many books through the years, some have hooked me from page one, some on page 50. The number of books that have hooked me with the first three sentences on the other hand, are few. So I'm going to name them.

The Divine Comedy - Dante Alighieri (This is one of my favorite books of all time)

Demons at Deadnight - A & E Kirk

Drop Dead Demons - A & E Kirk

I know we don't like the same things in life and I don't claim that these books will give everybody the same feelings as they did me, but I do recommend that you try them out.

Here is the link to the Kirk's huge giveaway. Go have a look. You will be amazed at all the things the are giving their fans.

A & E Kirk Massive Giveaway

I'm going to resume my writing now and I'll update you next week on the progress.

ComicCon

My daughter and I are Whovians to the core, so we had to attend LFCC and meet "the impossible girl". We did run into some more friends though.

It's been a while.

Hey all!

I've been busy, busy, busy. Moving to a house, writing a book and working out. Yeah one of those is a total lie. Anywho. Reviving my blog in the name of books.

Two series to be more exact.

The first one is; Guards of the Shadowlands by Sarah Fine.
This series is a little dark and twisted which I like. It doesn't bore me and the second book is just as good as the first one.
I often find that the second book in a series is aweful. It happened in Mortal Instruments, Penryn & the end of days, Hunger games, Fallen and so on. This however keeps the quality and makes me want to go back for more.

Second series is; Divinicus Nex Chronicles by A & E Kirk
This series is lots of fun. It keeps me smiling from page one. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, but the difference between them  make it easy to do so.
The second book is longer and dives deeper into a few of the characters which for me is a treat. Looking forward to getting to know all of them better. Just like the previous series, this has me coming back, not just for seconds, but thirds and forths as well.
I find new things to marvle over in every read which keep me on my toes.

Well. I'll be posting my own little fan fic between writing my own book and caring for my daughter. So I'll hope to see you all soon.
